Need to get out of the house and on your feet? Looking for a family friendly adventure? Take the Bandon Museum’s challenge–and do some healthy, historic hiking. The free hiking guides can be found at Bandon’s Museum and at Bandon’s Chamber of Commerce Visitors’ Center. Tell the kids to put their shoes on, pick up one of our maps, and take a self-guided walking tour. To the beach, to the bogs, and to all the old schools in between, each hike leads to a different chapter of our town’s story. Hike as a family. Kids can earn our “history hiker” awards.
