The “Good Friday” earthquake in Alaska in 1964 registered 8.4 on the Richter scale. It caused a tsunami in the Pacific which affected the west coast of the United States. Crescent City was especially hard hit. Eleven people lost their lives, three people were never found. Twenty-nine city blocks were left in total ruins. This book documents that event. $18 |
